Dental Hygienist - Redwood Dental of Shelby

Are you a patient-focused Registered Dental Hygienist who takes pride in providing thorough, high-quality care? We are looking for a skilled and confident hygienist to join our established team.

Our office has proudly served the Shelby community for over 20 years. We’re committed to creating a welcoming, team-oriented environment while providing exceptional care and building lasting relationships with our patients.

Job Description:

• Provide preventive dental care, periodontal therapy, and routine cleanings
• Perform oral health assessments and screenings
• Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
• Educate and motivate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and healthy lifestyle habits
• Collaborate closely with our dentists and clinical team to deliver seamless patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards

Qualifications:

• Current Michigan Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Patient-focused approach to care
• Ability to educate patients and confidently discuss oral health and periodontal conditions
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to maintain an efficient hygiene schedule while providing thorough, high-quality care
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented

Schedule:

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM OR 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday/Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM, every other weekend
  • Week 1: Work Friday, off Saturday
  • Week 2: Off Friday, work Saturday
